Shelley Fant founded FCG Solutions in 2000 and has over eighteen (18) years of entrepreneurial, legal, staffing, coaching, and human resources experience.
Shelley is a member of the Women President’s Organization (WPO), where women presidents of multi million dollar companies take part in professionally-facilitated peer advisory groups in order to accelerate the growth of their businesses. Shelley serves on the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera (CLO) and has served as the Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Holy Family Institute Foundation, and the Shuman Juvenile Detention Center.
Shelley has been honored as the Minority Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration (Western Pennsylvania District). The SBA Minority Small Business Person of the Year award is in recognition of Ms. Uku’s outstanding performance and commitment to excellence as an entrepreneur.
Shelley was honored by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as one of Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business. The Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business awards program honors women who share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and to their community. Shelley has also been honored as a Woman of Excellence by the New Pittsburgh Courier.
Shelley earned her law degree from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University and holds a Bachelor’s of Art in Marketing from Hampton University. Shelley is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New York. Prior to founding FCG Solutions Shelley was an Assistant Vice President and Senior Attorney at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh providing dedicated legal support to the human resources and marketing departments.
